IMPORTANT

We are unable to GUARANTEE a centered back or that any quilt top that comes to us with fullness and or wrinkles sewn in, will lay flat once it has been quilted. Large puckers or fullness SELDOM quilts out. In some instances we are able to make tucks in the top to eliminate fullness, however we are very careful to disguise these tucks as seams. Each quilt top is unique, dictating the quilting style or pattern by its color, design, size, materials used, and workmanship.

SIZES

Prices are figured on a size basis, When viewing the price page, quilting goes up according size and amount of stitching to be done. 1 inch in width or length over the chart size bumps the quilting cost to the next level. Any top larger than 115"x115" or of an odd configuration (circle, triangle, uneven sides, etc.), and custom quilting will be quoted on a piece by piece basis.

INSTRUCTIONS

Please make sure the top is pressed and all thread tails have been removed. Fill out the work sheet to the best of your ability. Once we receive the top with instructions, we will go over the instructions and if we have any questions, we will contact you before quilting your top.

WHAT WE EXPECT WHEN WE RECEIVE YOUR TOP, BACKING, AND BATTING

If you are furnishing the backing or batting, or both, please make sure that the pieces are at least 4"-6" larger than the top on all 4 sides. DO NOT pin or baste the quilt together in any way. THREAD- we supply the thread, offering a nice variety of solid colors to choose from. Varigated thread is also available. this type of thread is more expensive and temperamental, so there is an additional fee.

BINDING

Binding completes the quilt, Customers typically choose to do this process themselves, however we do offer this as one of our services. There are a couple of options, you may supply your own binding, or we can make it for you. We can attach the binding to your quilt and you can finish stitching it down on the opposite side, or we can completely finish it for you by machine or hand stitching. There are extra fees for any of these choices, If you wish to have us make your binding, use the formula to figure out how much extra fabric to send. Measure all four sides of quilt top, add them together for a total of  how many inches, then divide the total inches by 40x2.5+2.5= the total inches of extra fabric we use. (This formula is ONLY for fabric cut on the straight of grain.)

EXAMPLE: a quilt that is 90" long and 73" wide would total 326" (90+90+73+73). Divide the total inches of 326" by 40=8.15 strips which are cut 2.5" wide+2.5" for an extra strip=a minimum of 23" of additional fabric.

If you choose to have us make binding from your fabric, there is a $10 fee. If you choose to have us use fabric from our stock to make binding, there is a $10 fee plus the price of fabric yardage used to make the binding.
